Engineering Woxer's store to convert at the speed they sell
A fast-growing DTC apparel brand needed a Shopify store that could keep up with impulse-driven buying. We became their embedded development team across subscriptions, PDP, checkout, and a custom bundle-inventory app.
Woxer — DTC apparel built for movement
Woxer is a fast-growing direct-to-consumer apparel brand with a loyal, subscription-led customer base. Their audience buys fast and buys often — the kind of impulse-driven behaviour that rewards a store engineered for speed and conversion.
As the brand scaled, the store struggled to keep pace. The default subscription experience couldn't deliver the dashboard and funnel they envisioned, product pages lacked the merchandising tools to grow order value, and running a single sitewide offer meant editing prices, labels, and text by hand in dozens of places.
UpSolite stepped in as Woxer's ongoing development partner — not for a one-off project, but as an embedded team owning the subscription funnel, PDP and collection pages, checkout experience, a custom bundle-inventory app, and the full third-party integration layer.
Growth was outpacing the store's ability to convert it
Woxer had the traffic and the demand. What they lacked was a store engineered to capture it — across subscriptions, merchandising, offers, and inventory.
A subscription flow that capped growth
The default subscription experience and dashboard couldn't deliver the funnel Woxer wanted, limiting retention and how subscribers managed their plans.
Product pages left AOV on the table
No pack selector, swatches, or smart recommendations — the PDP wasn't built to nudge shoppers toward bigger, higher-value orders.
Offers were a manual, error-prone chore
Every sitewide promo meant editing prices, labels, and offer text by hand across the storefront and cart — slow, and easy to get out of sync.
Bundles risked overselling stock
Bundle products shared inventory with their components, with no reliable way to reserve and track stock — a recipe for oversells.
for all offers
Why off-the-shelf couldn't get there
Native Shopify subscriptions and the default Recharge UI simply can't produce the custom dashboard and funnel Woxer needed. And nothing in the stack offered a single place to control pricing and offer messaging everywhere at once.
- Recharge's standard UI couldn't deliver a bespoke subscriber dashboard.
- No native way to sync one offer across storefront, PDP, and cart.
- Bundle products had no built-in shared-inventory reservation.
The decision: rather than stacking more apps, build the missing logic natively on the Recharge SDK and Shopify Checkout Extensions — so Woxer owns it and it stays fast.
One embedded team across the whole funnel
We rebuilt the subscription flow and a fully custom subscriber dashboard on the Recharge SDK, then engineered the PDP and collection experience to drive larger orders — swatches, a pack selector, custom + Rebuy recommendations, size guide, quick add, and search/filter.
- A global offer engine — change price, label, and offer text everywhere (incl. cart) from one place.
- Checkout Extensions: upsells, trust badges, and an offer countdown timer.
- A custom app that reserves and tracks bundle inventory and relationships.
- Integrations: Okendo, wishlist, search & filter, Rebuy, and auto-invites.
Five workstreams, one accountable partner
Rebuilt the subscription funnel and a fully custom subscriber dashboard on the Recharge SDK — giving subscribers control and Woxer a flow built around retention.
Swatches, pack selector, custom + Rebuy recommendations, size guide, plus collection search, filtering, quick add, and related-product swatches — all engineered to lift average order value.
A single control point that updates prices, labels, and offer text across the entire site and cart — turning a multi-hour manual chore into a few minutes, with zero risk of mismatched pricing.
Custom checkout blocks via Checkout Extensibility — upsells, trust badges, and an offer countdown timer — to capture more value at the highest-intent moment.
A custom app to reserve and track bundle inventory and relationships, plus a clean integration layer: Okendo, wishlist, search & filter, Rebuy, and auto-invites via UpSolite Bulk Invite.
A measurable lift — with a stack Woxer fully owns

Built on the tools that power modern commerce
Every part of the Woxer build uses Shopify's own ecosystem — APIs, extensions, and SDKs — so it stays fast, stable, and fully owned by the brand.
Ongoing, embedded — not a one-off scope
Ongoing, multi-phase engagement — UpSolite operates as Woxer's embedded development team rather than on a fixed one-off scope. Each phase addressed the next highest-leverage part of the funnel, from subscriptions and PDP through checkout and custom app development.
